"A Tribute to America"

Because of my love, compassion, and respect for our nation, I have adapted some of our cards on the line to call attention to my thoughts of September 11, 2001. My prayer is that we will rise beyond fear and unite out of love and understanding: faith in our democracy, and strength in our unity as a nation of citizens who respect and honor each other.

I feel that fear is the basic international poison here, and if we can rise above fear ~ (taking every preventative action we can) to protect each other from terrorist infiltration and attack ~ we will be able to heal.

I also feel that any act of terrorism (on any level) is torment to the soul...there are so many lessons here and it is our sacred opportunity to explore these circumstances...

One of my friends wrote to me recently, quoting Ghandi, "an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind."

May we keep love in the forefront of all of our actions; personal, political, and spiritual...
